On the move

The University of Warwick has appointed the following: Rosemary Bland , formerly of the University of Birmingham, lecturer in the department of biological sciences; Rachel Grellier , formerly of City University, senior research fellow in the school of health and social studies; Bishnupriya Gupta , formerly of the London School of Economics, lecturer in the department of economics; Guillaume Haeringer , formerly of Louis Pasteur University, lecturer in the department of economics; and Ilias Tsiakas , formerly of the University of Toronto, lecturer in the Warwick Business School.

Thomas Graham , university librarian at the University of Newcastle, has taken over as chairman of the Consortium of University Research Libraries .

Paul Poplawski , formerly of Trinity College Carmarthen, has been appointed director of studies at Vaughan College , the University of Leicester 's Institute of Lifelong Learning.

The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama has appointed Donna Soto-Morettini as the next director of its school of drama.

Christopher Taylor , pro vice-chancellor of the University of Leeds, has been appointed vice-chancellor of the University of Bradford .

Harold Thimbleby , professor of computing research and senior manager at Middlesex University, has been appointed professor of geometry at Gresham College , London and director of University College London's interaction centre.

Steve Willis has been promoted to principal of Stafford College .
