Our programme of worldwide activity, headed by our flagship World Academic Summit and a regular series of regional summits, brings together pre-eminent global thought leaders across higher education, research, industry and government to share best practice and innovation in the development and leadership of world-class universities and research.

Our focused forums bring together senior leaders from across higher education, research, industry and policymaking to share data, best practice and innovative ideas about the future of universities. Our Impact Forums align with the THE Impact Rankings, which measure universities’ action towards the UN Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs), while our regional forums are a chance to dive deep into that region's higher education.

THE Live

The THE Campus Live series consists of buzzy discussions, debates, workshops, and roundtables on the most pressing issues that are challenging academic and professional staff and leaders at universities right now. Discover the latest news and trends from experts and key influencers in the sector, and hear from decision-makers across higher education, government and NGOs.

THE Awards

Established in the UK in 2005 and held overseas for the first time in 2019, the THE Awards series (or the 'Oscars of higher education' as it is now widely known) comprises landmark events in the higher education calendar.

Free to enter, and complementing our suite of rankings, they are judged by a panel of sector experts and shine a light on the exceptional and extraordinary work taking place in our universities. Hundreds of institutions enter, and winners come from world-renowned and highly ranked institutions, those who may be less well known and operating in uniquely challenging circumstances, and every shape and size in between.

Our webinar series is brought to you in collaboration with our partners, bringing together university leadership and industry voices to provide you with regular regional insights, models of best practice and thought leadership content.

Join Duncan Ross, chief data officer, and Hannah Peacock, senior data analyst, as we review the data submission process behind THE’s Impact Rankings 2023 edition, as well as updates to the methodology.
