The content and structure of THE Counsellor has been shaped by experienced school counsellors from THE's International School’s Advisory Board ensuring a true “for counsellors, by counsellors” ethos. The majority of articles have been written by counsellors from around the world.

THE Counsellor is part of Times Higher Education’s three pillar strategy for school counsellors, also including the THE Counsellor Accreditation Programme (THE CAP) and the Regional Counsellor Workshops.
