About the Positions We currently have positions available from Assistant Professor to Full Professor, for the following disciplines: Diagnostic Radiography Dietetics Nursing Occupational Therapy Physiotherapy Speech and Language Therapy Applicants should meet all the criteria below: (a) an earned PhD in the respective healthcare discipline from a reputable university; (b) excellent research track record; (c) deep clinical experience in the respective healthcare discipline. We will prioritise collegial and team-spirited candidates with an earned PhD in a related discipline from a reputable university, plus relevant work experience or experience of industry-linked applied research projects. The Early Career Awards (ECA) are designed to support Singaporeans who have recently completed their postdoctoral training and prepare them for an academic career at SIT. This award aims to enhance the teaching capabilities of the recipient and help build a strong research portfolio. Eligibility and Selection Criteria Singapore Citizen   Recently completed postdoctoral training   Excellent academic record plus a high degree of proficiency and motivation for a research area that is strongly aligned with SIT’s supported areas  Strong passion for teaching, research and an academic career Benefits Awardees may receive research grants to help build a competitive research portfolio. Upon completion of the award, awardees will be considered for Assistant Professorship. Awardees will also be assigned a faculty mentor for the duration of the scheme. (Bio)pharmaceuticals: Processing science and technology for bio- and chemical transformations, separations, purifications and formulation applied to pharmaceuticals manufacture; modelling of processing steps and whole processes to support innovation, design, optimisation and control for manufacturing operations. Process control: process modelling, control, and optimization, with applications in chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing; data-driven modelling and machine learning applications in process industries; advanced process control (APC); model predictive control (MPC); digital twins and real-time process monitoring and control; process analytical technology (PAT); process intensification and sustainability.

The Lipid Metabolism and Neurochemistry research team is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to contribute to a research program investigating why humans lose myelin with ageing and how this sensitizes us to neurodegenerative diseases of ageing. This is a molecular and cellular research project that is expected to generate new insights into brain metabolism, how glial cells and neurons communicate, and how these processes break down in the ageing brain. You will work in one of the leading research teams in brain metabolism, supervised by Prof Anthony Don. This position will be based at the University of Sydney's Charles Perkins Centre, an outstanding collaborative research environment. About you PhD in a relevant field such as neuroscience, biochemistry, or cell biology experience conducting and communicating biomedical research, evident as research publications and conference presentations developing research profile and publications in the discipline or area of expertise sound understanding and practical expertise in one or more of the fields of neuroscience, biochemistry, mass spectrometry, and/or cell biology. excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills strong interest in a career in scientific research.
