The University and bp have signed a AUS$10 million agreement that supports GeoEnergy research, education and outreach activities into the geological storage of hydrogen and carbon dioxide. Adelaide University is seeking to appoint an academic leader of international standing to join the Institute for Photonics, Advanced Sensing and Quantum Technologies (IPAS-QT) as its next Director. Reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Performance), the next Director will champion breakthrough science and transformative technologies and provide visionary leadership and strategic oversight to advance the Institute’s position as a globally recognised leader in photonics, advanced sensing, quantum technologies and transdisciplinary research. The Director will ensure the continued growth, reputation and sustainability of the Institute, advancing discovery, innovation and societal impact in alignment with the University’s strategic vision and research ambitions.
