China Subject Ratings 2020: Economics

The Times Higher Education China Subject Ratings 2020 measures university performance based on the Chinese Ministry of Education’s classification of subjects.

The ratings for economics reveal performance in two subjects: applied economics and theoretical economics.

In total, 597 universities worldwide receive a rating for at least one subject in the economics pillar.

Thirty-eight universities achieve an A+ grade in both economics subjects, including Peking University and Tsinghua University in China.
