Times Higher Education’s Sustainability Impact Ratings (previously THE Impact Rankings) evaluated 1,254 universities from 106 countries/territories across the globe to identify the most sustainable institutions in terms of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: good health and well-being. The ratings reveal institutions making the greatest impact on global health through research into universal health coverage, preventable diseases, reproductive and mental health and comprehensive community health programmes and education.

Sustainable colleges and universities leading SDG 3: good health and well-being initiatives globally

  • Mahidol University in Thailand is number one
  • Two universities each from Australia, India, Taiwan and Thailand, one each from Canada and Ireland in top 10 for SDG 3
  • Philippines is the most represented country/territory, with 139 institutions ranked
