Goldsmiths, University of London

Tim Newburn, head of crime, justice and youth studies at the Policy Studies Institute, has been appointed to the Joseph Rowntree foundation chair in urban social policy.

Charles Brooker, professor of nursing at the University of Manchester, has been appointed visiting professor.
