Research at Universidad del Caribe (UNICARIBE) is focused on generating applied knowledge that responds to the social, economic, environmental, and educational challenges of the Dominican Republic, the Caribbean region, and the global community. UNICARIBE’s research priorities include:

-Sustainability, governance and environment.

-Digital transformation and Industry 4.0.

-Regional development and innovation ecosystems

 -Business, marketing and neuroscience; and educational innovation. 

These areas reflect the university's commitment to producing knowledge with academic value, institutional relevance and practical impact.

The university encourages faculty and student participation in research through academic programs, research groups, student research initiatives, applied projects, publications and knowledge-transfer activities.
