SOSIG on a roll

The Social Science Information Gateway based at the University of Bristol is expanding its service from August 1 to include use of personal user profiles and more information partnerships. The profiles will provide tailored news as well as an area for researchers to post CVs and find research opportunities. New specialist partners are: Biz/ed - the business and economics specialists; British Library for Political and Economic Science, London School of Economics; Centre for Social and Anthropological Computing, University of Kent at Canterbury; CTI Centre for Psychology, University of York; Department of Sociology, University of Surrey; Institute for Advanced Legal Studies, University of London; National Institute for Social Work. SOSIG will also benefit from the leading edge research at the university's Institute for Learning and Research Technology. www.sosig.ac.uk/
