Times Higher Education surveyed and reviewed 1,267 universities from 111 countries/territories to curate a list of the top universities for the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 1: no poverty. The SDG 1 university ranking reveals the universities that are making the greatest impact on poverty alleviation through rigorous poverty research, innovative educational programmes and strategic approaches to helping students in poverty, from offering extensive financial aid to implementing supportive learning environments.
