Applicants with experience in conducting clinical trials or in implementation of community research projects would have an advantage. Applicants should be able to work effectively both independently and in collaboration across teams to advance research initiatives. They should also be meticulous and have demonstrated ability to manage a research team to achieve project objectives. The appointees will be responsible for co-ordinating clinical trial studies for all Principal Investigators in the School. He/She is expected to perform other duties as assigned. They must be proficient in data analysis using statistical or computer modelling software, such as Stata or R. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English, and a demonstrated record of publishing academic research papers. They should be organized, self-motivated, and have the ability to multitask and work independently as well as in a team. Experience in large-scale research project management and development, knowledge of statistics and big data analysis would be highly desirable. The appointee will participate in various pharmacoepidemiology and epidemiological studies to assess the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of interventions, medication, and health services. They are expected to assist the core project team in planning and coordinating research projects, evaluate territory-wide programs, oversee data collection and analysis, prepare reports and presentations, supervise research assistants, and perform other relevant tasks as assigned.
