The Department of Education and English at New Uzbekistan University is inviting applications for several positions at the assistant or associate professor level in the fields of Applied Linguistics, or TESOL, TEFL. We welcome candidates specializing in TESOL, or Digital Humanities. We seek highly qualified individuals who are committed to a career in research and teaching. The appointments will begin in August 2026. Candidates for an assistant professor position are required to hold a Ph.D. in English or a closely related field before the start of the appointment. Candidates for an associate professor position should demonstrate a proven research record in related disciplines and an interest in institution building. Preferred candidates will have: PhD in a relevant field  from a reputed University Native-level English proficiency (e.g., native speaker or demonstrably equivalent proficiency in academic and professional contexts) Experience in international or cross-cultural higher education settings Job is full time, in Tashkent.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to New Uzbekistan University as an Assistant/Associate/Visiting Professor in Physics. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, mentoring students, conducting research, and collaborating with peers and industry partners to foster innovation to become a driver of innovative development in Uzbekistan. Requirements from candidates: Ph.D. degree from a reputed University in Physics or a closely related field; Teaching and research experience for the Full-time Professor rank, at least 10 years; Associate Professor rank, at least 5 years; Assistant Professor rank, at least 1 year International track record of research and professional achievements; Excellent record in teaching/overseeing undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. programs; Expertise in one or more specialized areas of Physics, such as astrophysics, quantum physics, solid state physics, nuclear physics, or related areas.
