New Uzbekistan University, located in the capital city of Tashkent, was founded in 2021 by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The president established a new modern university as the flagship institution of tertiary education in Uzbekistan.
New Uzbekistan University is the first public autonomous university in Uzbekistan.

Teaching and learning
Five Faculties of NUU provide research based learning with high quality of academic knowledge in a range of subjects across the Engineering, Management, Computing, Humanities, Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Studying these disciplines can help students develop critical skills, expand their knowledge base, and prepare for successful careers in a variety of industries.
All undergraduate programs are taught entirely in English and internationally standardized. NUU cooperates with leading universities in this sphere in particular, with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology of the USA, for the development of human skills, and with the Technical University of Munich, Germany, for the development of technical skills.
