World University Rankings by Subject 2020: Business and Economics

The 2020 Times Higher Education World University Rankings table for business and economics subjects uses the same trusted and rigorous performance indicators as our overall World University Rankings, but the weightings have been recalibrated to suit the individual fields.

The ranking assesses universities by their performance in accounting and finance, business and management, and economics and econometrics subjects.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, University of Oxford and University of Cambridge once again take the top four places. The University of California, Berkeley ranks in fifth place, up from sixth, displacing Duke University, which is ranked seventh.
