More than 30 university presidents from 16 countries spoke at the Times Higher Education Asia Universities Summit, which took place in Hong Kong from 19 to 21 June.

Speakers at the summit, hosted by Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, included Thomas F. Rosenbaum, president of the California Institute of Technology, and Chorh Chuan Tan, president of the National University of Singapore, which tops the 2016 THE Asia University Rankings. 

It was also confirmed that next year's Asia Universities Summit will take place at the University of Ulsan in South Korea.
