A partnership with a higher education provider in Malaysia will help increase the South-East Asian country's supply of skilled engineers. The University of Greenwich has won government cash under the Prime Minister's Initiative to work with SEGi College, which describes itself as one of the largest private education and training providers in Malaysia. Staff from SEGi College will be trained to run Greenwich courses in the state of Selangor, and Greenwich staff will make regular visits and teach on some modules. Greenwich now has partners in 17 countries.
