UNIVERSITY OF EXETER

Mark Overton, reader at the University of Newcastle, has been appointed professor of economics and social history from April 1. Simon Wren-Lewis, professor in macro-economic modelling at the University of Strathclyde, has been appointed to the Bertie Black chair in business economics from July 1. Iain Hampsher-Monk, former reader in political theory has been appointed professor of political theory from January 1.

UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE

Sandra Dawson, professor of organisation behaviour at Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, has been appointed director of the Judge Institute of Management Studies as the new Peat Marwick professor of management studies.

UNIVERSITY OF WESTMINSTER

Michael Radelet has been appointed visiting professor at the centre for capital punishment studies in the school of law.

LOUGHBOROUGH UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY

Richard Wilson, professor of management and accounting at Keele University, has been appointed professor of business administration and financial management.
