University of Strathclyde - Boom in chemical engineering

一月 24, 2008

A new chemical engineering laboratory has been opened at the University of Strathclyde. The £2 million facility will allow the department of chemical and process engineering to further its research into nanostructured materials and will make it possible for teaching to take place in tandem with research. A further £600,000 will be spent on research staff accommodation later this year. Applications to study chemical engineering have risen by 70 per cent since 2001, and admissions have grown by almost 40 per cent in the past six years.
