The future role of the accounting and finance function has been the subject of much speculation. This research initiative is designed to encourage research into the changes affecting the accounting and finance function and the effects which they have, and are likely to have, on it. Research proposals are invited on this broad theme and also on specific topics, details of which are available on request.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to present their proposals to a CIMA selection panel in March 2001. The maximum funding for any individual project is £40,000.
