Essex girl goes for PhD

八月 30, 2002

Tracy Playle, the Essex girl who claimed she was ridiculed about her background and accent by a Cambridge University interviewer when she applied for a place at Trinity College, is to return to Warwick University - where she gained a first-class degree - to do her doctoral research.

She is planning to combine work with study, as she was unable to secure funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Board.
