二月 28, 2008

A Bangor lecturer has assembled an anthology entitled Jews and Sex. Nathan Abrams, a lecturer in film studies at Bangor University, edited the collection of essays over the past year. The book covers Jewish sexuality from the Bible to the contemporary adult film industry. Dr Abrams has highlighted gems including "Semen, semolina and salt water: The erotic Jewess in Sandra Goldbacher's The Governess" and "Vaginal voyages: Performances of sexuality and the Jewish female body". Dr Abrams' own contribution is called: "Kosher beefcakes and kosher cheesecakes: Jews in porn - an overview". He said: "I hope the readers find as much pleasure in this book as I have had editing it. Some of it has been a real eye-opener."
