SEDA. The Staff and Educational Development Association has elected the Carol Baume, principal lecturer at Oxford Brookes University and Sally Brown, educational development adviser at the Universityof Northumbria at Newcastle, as co-chairs.
UNIVERSITY OF ESSEX. Ivor Crewe, currently pro vice chancellor (academic) has been appointed acting vice chancellor.
KEELE UNIVERSITY. Janet Finch, pro vice chancellor at Lancaster University, has been appointed vice chancellor, succeeding Brian Fender on September 25, 1995.
SHEFFIELD HALLAM UNIVERSITY. Ian Johnson, currently director general of the Employment Department's training, enterprise and education directorate, has been appointed deputy principal.
