Position Details Full-Time or Part-time | Continuing Academic Level B | $113,211 - $133,974 p.a. pro rata Location: Bedford Park / Kaurna Country View Position Description About the Role We are seeking a passionate Lecturer in Midwifery - Teaching Specialist (Clinical Practitioner), to contribute to excellence in teaching and learning across a range of midwifery topics. The lecturer will play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality, innovative teaching through lectures, tutorials, clinical placements, and contemporary digital strategies. This includes creating course materials, coordinating placements, and conducting assessments. The role also requires ongoing clinical or community-based practice to maintain current skills and knowledge. The role will actively contribute to enhancing teaching and learning through scholarship and may also teach across other programs within the College of Nursing and Health Sciences or other university Colleges. Building and strengthening partnerships with external stakeholders to improve teaching, learning, or research outcomes is also a vital aspect of the role. In addition, the incumbent will provide informal leadership by supporting academic staff, coordinating workflows, and ensuring high standards aligned with university policies and practices. About You You will hold a doctorate in a relevant field or possess equivalent clinical experience and professional standing in Midwifery. With excellence in tertiary-level teaching, including in simulation and clinical settings, you also have experience in placement coordination.
