Alfaisal University is situated in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital city and financial hub. The affluent business hub, Riyadh is also home to many multinationals and organizations, making it an ideal place to study before entering the world of graduate work. 

The university is located on the grounds of the late King Faisal Palace in the heart of Riyadh. This location is ideally suited for travel, with close connections to all of the city’s major highways.

Riyadh contains many beautiful sights, such as modern high-rises and the Souq Al Jamal, one of the largest markets on the Arabian peninsula.

Students of Alfaisal University are taught by faculty members who have produced outstanding research and rank among the best in their fields. Small class sizes and an impressive student to teacher ratio of 11:1 ensure that every student receives the support they need to thrive academically and achieve their personal best. The university also offers exceptional facilities spread out across a 36.7 acre campus, including:

Alfaisal University has a modern campus equipped with state of the art facilities and labs designed to accommodate up to 4,000 students. It incorporates teaching buildings, student centers, conference halls, cafes, and up to 2,500 underground car parking spaces.

Alfaisal University is open to the world and fosters an inclusive and friendly environment for all students. As many as 34 percent of its students are international, with 39 nationalities currently represented on campus. All students acclimate quickly to their new lives thanks to freshmen orientation, study and tutoring sessions, counselling services, job and internship fairs, and recreational activities. 

To encourage diversity, Alfaisal University offers scholarships to students from around the world, regardless of their citizenship or gender. Indeed, Alfaisal University is proud of its track record in supporting gender equality and of the outstanding women it has opened its doors to, including Hala Abdulla Albaidallah, who was the first woman in Saudi Arabia to receive a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering and Alanoud Al-Turki, who was the first woman in the country to join Microsoft as a field engineer after graduating from the university with a BS in Software Engineering.
