The Department offers a full range of degree programmes in supply chain and operations management, maritime studies and others. The Department takes a multi-disciplinary approach to establishing an area of excellence in logistics, supply chain, and operations management. It strives to be a key player in Hong Kong’s pursuit to become an international logistics hub. The Department’s research portfolio lies in both academic and applied research. The team is the first group to offer Biomedical Engineering related undergraduate programme in Hong Kong, and has made great achievements in BME education, innovative research, and technology transfer. Currently BME has six thematic research areas, including Biomedical Imaging, Sensing, AI and Wearable Technology, Brain-Machine Interface and Neural Engineering, Molecular/Cellular Engineering and Biomaterials, Precision Diagnostics and Therapy, Prosthetics-Orthotics, Smart Ageing and Rehabilitation Engineering, and Sports Science and Technology.
