Research Assistant Professor in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Apparel Technology (Ref. 260611005) The appointee will be required to (a) conduct research in the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Apparel Technology as the main duty and actively pursue external research grants, such as General Research Fund, Innovation and Technology Fund and other competitive external fund, as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator; (b) provide supervision to MPhil or PhD students; (c) provide quality teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate level; (d) contribute to the School’s service; and (e) perform any other duties as assigned by the designated project leader, Dean of School or their delegates. FACULTY OF HUMANITIES Joseph Needham Professorship in Science and Civilisation (Ref. 260513001) The Faculty of Humanities at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University is dedicated to creating synergies among language, communication, history, culture, and technology in education and research, highlighting both the discovery and the transfer of knowledge.  It is a leading tertiary education provider in Asia in the fields of linguistics, language science, language technology, Chinese-English bilingual studies and translation, intercultural communication, professional communication, and cultural and historical studies of China.
