New Leeds Trinity University campus embeds students in the real world
Leeds Trinity University’s new city-based campus empowers students to apply their learning outside of the academic bubble

Leeds Trinity University’s new city campus surrounds students with opportunities and the world of work, says Catherine O’Connor, pro vice-chancellor for education and experience at the institution. “We strongly feel that learning at a university shouldn’t be in an isolated bubble – it should be connected to the real world,” she says.
The Leeds Trinity University City Campus, which officially opened in October 2024, is in the centre of Leeds. Several schools are based at the new campus, namely the business school; construction and the built environment; the law school; the school of computer science; and the school of criminology, investigation and policing.
