The list includes 291 universities from 68 countries.

The list is led by Canada’s McMaster University, while Sweden’s KTH Royal Institute of Technology and the UK’s University of East Anglia complete the top three.

Japan is the most-represented nation in the table with 28 institutions, followed by Russia with 24 and the UK with 19.
