The captains of Celtic and Rangers football teams have set aside their competitive differences and made a joint appeal for donations to build a new cancer research centre in Scotland. Stephen McManus and Barry Ferguson kicked off the Beatson Pebble Appeal, which aims to raise £10 million for the Beatson Translational Research Centre.
