BOURNEMOUTH

Chris Brady is dean of Bournemouth University's Business School. The former semi-professional footballer has also worked as a line-worker in a Chrysler auto plant in Detroit and spent 16 years in the Royal Navy. Before joining Bournemouth, he was head of business development at the Cass Business School.

Professor Brady said he joined the university because of its commitment to invest in the Business School.

"In future, I envisage the school being a real player as a 'niche' business school, moving ahead in executive education and becoming more closely involved in researching and providing learning and professional opportunities in the business of leisure including sport and gambling," he said.
