A scheme to develop a new generation of entrepreneurs has won £1 million in funding. Strathclyde Entrepreneurial Network at the University of Strathclyde, which supports students and graduates in business creation, is being funded by the Scottish Government's SEEKIT programme, the European Regional Development Fund and the university. The network, launched in 2005, has already supported more than 250 students and alumni, helped to create 36 companies and assisted companies to increase their sales revenue by more than £1 million.
