A partnership on rural research involving four universities has been launched. The Rural Research and Strategy Partnership (RRSP) comprises Forest Research (the Farnham-based research agency of the Forestry Commission) and the universities of Reading, Surrey and Sussex, as well as the University College for the Creative Arts. Gordon Marshall, vice-chancellor of the University of Reading, said: "The RRSP intends to make the dialogue between the research community, policymakers and rural community groups deeper."
