Goldsmiths, University of London - Balkans collaboration

A new centre has brought together scholars of the Balkans. The Centre for the Study of the Balkans at Goldsmiths, University of London, was formally inaugurated on 24 November. It brings together academics based at Columbia University, the University of Oxford, the London School of Economics, University College London and Goldsmiths, plus other institutions in the UK and overseas. Dejan Djoki?, senior lecturer in history at Goldsmiths and director of the centre, said its aim was to attain "an international reputation by forging strong relationships with other academic institutions across the globe".
