A merger has been agreed between the University of Bradford and Leeds College of Music to help both institutions improve their music provision. A detailed merger proposal is being drawn up and will be submitted to the Higher Education Funding Council for England in early December. Mark Cleary, vice-chancellor of Bradford, said he was "delighted to be working with Leeds College of Music to develop its mission of high-quality music provision, which fits well alongside our current academic curriculum".
