An exhibition covering the career of a former diplomatic interpreter is being held at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies at the University of Exeter. From Arabia to Exeter: A Family's Story captures the career of Leslie McLoughlin, an interpreter whose work in the Middle East included time with foreign dignitaries including Arab sheikhs, British prime ministers and the Queen. Mr McLoughlin is now a research fellow at the university. The exhibition runs until 30 June.
