The Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, US, has a course in aircraft maintenance/missionary aviation.
The fundamentalist Christian institution where Ian Paisley once studied and which only recently permitted inter-racial dating is pioneering combined degrees. The objective is to train missionaries who can fly and maintain aircraft. If their skills fail them in mid-flight, they will have the option of praying for a safe landing.
