Want a tap off is jab?

十一月 1, 2002

Two adverts have appeared for the chief executive of the Ulster-Scots Agency, the Northern Ireland language body that helps fund Ulster University's Institute of Ulster-Scots Studies. One advert is in English; the other in Ulster-Scots. Applicants must have at least three years' experience at a senior executive level, or, to put it another way, "maun hae wrocht for thrie yeir or mair as a high-heidyin in a tap offis jab".

Those interested can ring for an application form, information pack or further information, or "gie a caa gin ye'r wantin a jab foarm, wittins bunnle or mair wittins". And "aa thaim as haes filled in jab foarms wull be taen tent o on nae ither grunn nor whilk yin micht be maist richt for tha jab" (all applications will be considered strictly on the basis of merit).
