University of Strathclyde - State of the Union

Academics in Scotland are investigating the future of regional development policies in Europe. Two studies at the University of Strathclyde's European Policies Research Centre, both funded by the European Commission, will inform the future direction of European Union cohesion policy from 2014 onwards. The first project will involve a global study of how regional policy can operate most effectively. The second will assess how national policies in each of the EU member states contribute to the goal of economic and social cohesion across the union.
