Argentina and Italy are the biggest cheats in international football, according to fans of teams competing in the World Cup. A survey of 500 fans by the University of Sheffield's Institute of Work Psychology found that faking injury and diving in the penalty area are the most disliked forms of cheating. Italian and Spanish respondents are least likely to consider diving to be cheating. The survey is part of a study monitoring cheating in the World Cup and whether it arises from personal attitudes, team traits or the pressures of match situations.
