University of Sheffield - Reward for sharing

十二月 17, 2009

A national competition to upload the most freely accessible open-access content during the UK's first Open Access Week has been won by the University of Sheffield. Its academics uploaded 101 research items during the week, 40 more than the runner-up. The contest was run by the Repositories Support Project, which supports the creation of open-access repositories in the UK and is funded by the Joint Information Systems Committee. The papers were uploaded to the White Rose Research Online service, which provides a database of published material from the universities of Sheffield, Leeds and York.
