University of Sheffield - Give the gift of spookiness

十月 16, 2008

Billed as Britain's biggest Halloween party, Fright Night in Sheffield attracts more than 35,000 visitors each year. Now the cultural content of the night is to get a boost from the University of Sheffield. Vanessa Toulmin, Sheffield academic and director of the National Fairground Archive, is arranging the street entertainment for this year's event. Her gift in kind is a way of thanking the party's organisers for donating posters of the event from the past eight years to the archive. Fright Night celebrations take place on Sunday 26 October.
