University of Dundee - Law courses revamped

The University of Dundee's Law School has overhauled its courses. Students will now be able to choose whether to qualify with the professional accreditation of the Law Society of Scotland or its counterpart in England and Wales. The course structure will also make it easier for graduates to achieve dual accreditation, and for the first time the school will offer a distance-learning programme in international dispute resolution, aimed at qualified lawyers already in the workplace. Meanwhile, Betty Bott, former senior fiscal prosecutor at the Scottish Crown Office and the Procurator Fiscal Service, has joined the school as director of legal and professional development.
