University of Birmingham - Would-be officers enrol

Up to 50 students sponsored by the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces will be joining the University of Birmingham to study science and engineering. The university is one of six institutions accepting applicants on the Defence Technical Undergraduate Scheme (DTUS), which allows students to study for a degree before being posted to Sandhurst, Cranwell or Dartmouth for officer training.
