Ulster vice-chancellor leads mission to US

* Ulster University vice-chancellor Gerry McKenna this week led a UK delegation of higher education experts to study North Carolina's innovative tertiary education system.

The mission is being backed by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, Universities UK and Northern Ireland's department for education and learning.
