Keele University might be accused of something similar when one of its students attempts a "lecturethon" for Comic Relief next week. Christian Gerstner, a PhD student and sociology module leader, is to give ten one-hour lectures of the module he teaches, A Journey through Cyberspace, back to back. He hopes to raise £1,000 by talking because he claims to be "decidedly unfit", which rules him out of doing anything sporty.
