Survey uncovers low morale at Keele

Almost three-quarters of staff polled at Keele University are concerned about the university's future and more than 80 per cent blame the management team.

A survey of 226 lecturers and other staff by the joint trade unions found that only 6.6 per cent of staff agreed that the vice-chancellor "is doing a good job". A staggering 92 per cent disagreed with the statement: "Management is right to believe that staff morale is not a problem". Just 0.8 per cent agreed.
