Sheffield/Hertfordshire/Open universities - London lowlife goes online

Details of extraordinary crimes carried out in London can be viewed online for the first time from this week. Researchers at the universities of Sheffield and Hertfordshire and at The Open University have teamed up to expand the Old Bailey Proceedings Online website (www.oldbaileyonline.org) to include details of criminal trials from 1674 to 1913. The website has been funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
