Florey Visiting Awards have been established by the Australian National University ( www.anu.edu.au ) and the Royal Society in memory of Lord Florey OM FRS. The purpose of these awards is to enable outstanding British biomedical scientists to visit Australian universities or research institutions for periods of four to six weeks. Up to four awards will be made annually.
Applications are invited from British scientists with no more than five years post-doctoral (PhD or equivalent research qualification) experience, who hold a scientific appointment in a university or research institution in the United Kingdom and who have had limited opportunity to visit Australia.
