二月 13, 2004

Higher education is to be represented at the queen's "girl power" lunch next month by Bernie Porter, rector of Roehampton University of Surrey. Porter will join some 200 celebrated women from the arts, media, law and business, among them author J. K. Rowling; barrister Cherie Booth; Music of Black Origin awards organiser Kanya King; journalist Sheena McDonald; and former model Heather Mills McCartney. The lunch, on March 11, is the first women-only event to be held at Buckingham Palace.
